Over the past few days, we have improved the way real estate leads are tracked and managed within our platform. These updates are designed to streamline communication steps and bring more clarity for agents handling new or cold leads.
Key Enhancements
- Updated Deal Stages: We clarified and shortened the deal stages to better reflect the actual sales process. For example:
1. Eerste contact gedaan
— indicates the first outreach via WhatsApp, SMS, call or email.2. Geen reactie – opvolg verzonden
— used when a follow-up was sent due to no response.3. Lead geïnteresseerd – vervolgtraject gestart
— includes situations like scheduled viewings or intake meetings.
- Improved WhatsApp Button Logic: If a mobile number is not stored in the primary field, the system now automatically checks the secondary phone field to detect if it contains a valid Belgian mobile number.
- Cleaner Interface: Button texts were shortened and made more intuitive, e.g., “📩 Eerste contact gedaan”, improving clarity and design consistency.
Belgian Mobile Number Detection
We implemented logic to detect Belgian mobile numbers both in +324...
and 04...
format, ensuring that WhatsApp buttons only appear when the number supports mobile messaging. Fixed lines like +32 3 449 99 17
are correctly excluded.
What's Next?
We're considering extending the tool with optional integration for calendar systems like Kebana or Google Calendar. For now, follow-ups beyond first contact can be added as notes, or managed in your own CRM system.
These improvements make the first stages of lead tracking much more transparent and aligned with the daily workflows of real estate agents. As always, we welcome your feedback on how to make the tool even more useful for your team.
